We pampas grass hedge, 300+ feet wall hedge which provided with privacy at 8'H. Unfortunately, someone cut 50'L.area to ground level and 40'L. to
3'H. Our experience is that some of the grass will died out and create an empty hole in the hedge if it comes back. When do you think it ever will to a solid hedge again? How long will it take. Your comments will be most appreciated.
I have 6 large pampas grass plant in the yard. I have not done a good job of pruning them. One now is about 90 % dead brown leaves. What should I do to make this one flourish? Should I cut it back to the ground? If so what time of the year? Your help will be appreciated.
I have cut our pampus down both in the fall and in some years spring. I can't say one is better than the other. I have also burned it after it was cut in early spring before it starts to green up and it seems to grow faster after doing this.calin
